If you are a teenager now then it is possible that you might not have heard of the 90???s smash hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was about a kick-ass teenage female lead who had to go through all the trials and errors of teenage life. But that???s not the catch as you have hint from the title that the Californian teenage girl is not an ordinary girl she is also the Vampire Slayer.
Buffy was the heart of the show who used to fight vampires at the night while at morning she attended high school like other teenagers. The show was actually based on a film of 1992, written by Joss Whedon. Now, the original creator Joss Whedon has announced that he is going to reboot the show. Though here is the twist that Whedon hinted about that the show is going to be much more diverse than the cult one and the actress who is going to take place in the shoes of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy might be a black actress.

Unlike other shows of 90???s, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was quite different with its main lead as female, killer dialogues and actually being scary. This time Whedon has buckle up in previous as executive producer of the show and have hired Monica Owusu-Breen with whom Whedon had worked before on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Monica is hired to write and also produce the rebooted series and she also serve as the show runner of it. There is no official script, director or actors declared so it???s very early to say anything about the show. Which network will be streaming the rebooted version that???s to be seen. It is matter of time to find out if the show get hit just like the original one or it gets a lot backlashes like the Charmed rebooted series with all new creative team and casts.
