Shahid Kapoor to play cricketer in Hindi remake of Telugu film Jersey
After Kabir Singh Shahid Kapoor will once again be seen in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film. He has signed the Hindi remake of the Telugu film 'Jersey', in April this year. Director Tinnanuri has confirmed the casting of Shahid Kapoor for the Hindi remake of 'Jersey' in one of his statements. He said, "I am very excited about the Hindi remake of the film. Now the audience will be able to see this film from all over the country and for this no one else could be a better choice than Shahid. Because he has already work in a Hindi remake of a South Indian film and has shown the magic of his performance to the audience. Significantly, 'Kabir Singh' was a Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy' made in Telugu.
The story of 'Jersey' revolves around a failed cricketer who, at the age of 36, decides to give his career a second chance. Despite this, all people doubt his ability.
