Singer Katharine McPhee shared the photograph of her left hand with her more than 485,000 Instagram followers, in a post on Monday when she also revealed the news of her father's death. Her father, David McPhee, was a former television producer. He had worked on Simon and Simon and The Incredible Hulk.?? She said that already missed her father a lot and the loss "hurts her a lot ", while also praising him calling him 'kind, caring and very loving '. She expressed her regret over her father was missing her broadway debut. Apparently, her father saw her ring before his death and was very delighted in his daughter's happiness.
She said in her Instagram post that the engagement was the "sunshine amongst this painful loss", and that she was "celebrating life and not forgetting love ".
She shared the advice her to-be husband gave her, that 'death is the only thing that is 100 percent inevitable and the thing we are least prepared for.'
The couple allegedly got engaged last month, and the news was confirmed on July 3. The 34-year-old's whose engagement to the 68-year old??was much criticized seems least interested in the views of her haters and has been gushing to her friends over the proposal. As McPhee apparently gushed to a friend, he proposed her in a romantic location -on a location on a cliff, in the dark under the stars. Rumors of their affair have been sailing since last year, when they were spotted in a Malibu restaurant. Later, the affair was confirmed.
The couple met first on American Idol, where she was a contestant and Foster appeared as a mentor. The latter is a music producer. This would be McPhee's second marriage and Foster's fifth marriage.
